First visit to Tlaquepaque, stopped in for a late lunch because we were in the area and what a treat! Our server, Juan, was very personable and took the time to chat with us and the food was great. I highly recommend and check out the guacamole and the shrimp fajitas (with broccoli and cauliflower as well as onions and peppers) so delicious!
This spot was absolutely the perfect place for thirst Thursday. We started off with the Hibiscus tea and Cadillac margaritas with guacamole n chips! Our server Gerry was a delight when we asked for suggestions. Everything she suggested was on point and hit the spot! Will be coming back again to try more items on the menu
Service was wonderful I felt like the staff took care of me and my husband as if we were family Then the food came out and it was to die for Over all I cannot wait to come back here!!
Tlaquepaque is genuinely one of the best Mexican restaurants in OC. Their food is great, their drinks are strong and the service is consistently praise worthy. The ambience is traditional and quaint. Not only is their regular menu delicious, but their Sunday brunch is excellent as well and has live music. My personal favorite is the tampiquena paired with a skinny margarita and a churro for desert. Amazing!
Tasty food. A friend of mine has been out of the country for months and was craving tacos. This restaurant fulfilled the craving. One thing I would add to improve is service can be a little slow.

Awesome service and the food was fantastic. Best guacamole Ixe had in a long time. Geri gave us wonderful service. She was so friendly and efficient. Will be back for sure.
Food was flavorful! First bite of my steak from the Chicken and Fajitas plate was better than I expected good steak to taste like. I also got a bite from the birria tacos and contemplated steak one from that plate. Skinny mojito was strong and I felt a bit tipsy from 3 sips as a light weight. Service was great. Waiter attended each of our requests even though we were a party of 11 people. Lighting in the restaurant is nice and mellow, bright enough to see but light enough to not bother those that are sensitive to bright lights.
Food was very tasty very authentic. Location is very nice the ambiance was nice lots of sitting available. Our server Geri was very attentive she was on it . Our drinks were never empty . And she came around making sure everything was good . She had great energy and recommended some good plates . It's a must try . STOP BY YOU WINT BE DISAPPOINTED.
I love this place. The meal was excellent Service excellent I cannot pronounce the name but the food is fantastic. Margaritas are almost perfect. My new go to for Mexican food
